Abstract

This paper aims to understand the digital communication strategies of the Associação Comercial e Industrial de Prestação de Serviços de São Borja - ACISB, located on the western border of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. With the focus on uses and appropriations, the study works with the concepts of public relations, organizational communication, digital social networks, communication strategies and organization as a space for the strength of commercial activities. Based on comments and information published on the Facebook page and interview, we analyze the strategies and the ways of approaching the public, indicating the necessity for companies in the present day to communicate with their audiences through digital media. It makes clear that social networks can serve as a potentiality for the development of the business and the approximation of different audiences.
