Abstract

The paper is the result of a bibliographical study on the professionalization of sources such as labor camp and activities of journalists in Brazil and in the world. To this end, presents a proposal of periodization in studies related to what Chaparro (1994; 2009) conceptualizes as Revolution of the sources. Next to this context is the radio journalism on the rise of the journalist sitting and the growing number of professionals who work directly for private and public institutions, organizations and individuals. The debate about the selection of fonts and profissionalizadas not profissionalizadas does not imply only in the discussion about the legitimacy of the professional process, but on building diversity in journalism today in different areas.
