Abstract

The text analyzes the characteristics of the Creative Industry and innovation in alternative journalistic enterprises in Brazil. The work cut is the selection of cases from a list of communication NGOs, the "Map of the `Publica´ of Independent Journalism", between 2015 and 2016. The methodology was bibliographical, when the concepts of Creative Industry and Economy, Innovation and innovation for journalism through funding methods; case study, among 73 cases of journalistic NGOs of the aforementioned list; and in the detailing of the innovation in the financing as characteristic of Creative Industry in the journalistic enterprises.
